Trinity Bounds

Elder / Lead Pastor

After graduating from the University of North Texas as an electronics engineer in 2001, securing a great job, and marrying the girl of his dreams, Trinity had a radical encounter with God that completely changed the direction of his life. Throughout his years of ministry experience, Trinity has served in several roles. Ministry began for him in 2007 where he helped to lead worship at Calvary Chapel in Fort Worth. During his 4 years at Calvary, Trinity also co-led the singles ministry and helped launch an apartment church as the worship leader and occasional teaching pastor. After his time at Calvary Chapel, Trinity became the youth pastor for The Creek Church in north Fort Worth. In His 6 years at The Creek, Trinity's role transitioned from youth pastor to family pastor, and finally to the adult pastor role. Trinity has served as the lead pastor of Pursuit since he and his wife Cindy launched the church in March of 2017. His passions involve leading people into a fullness of their relationship with Christ, equipping people to share their faith, and helping people further their understanding of the Bible. In his time off he also enjoys trying to perfect his BBQ recipes and spending time with his wife and two daughters (Alison and Lilly).

Trinity's Story

Mark Wood

Elder / Pastor of Missions

Mark, his wife Amy, and their three teenage kids joined Pursuit in 2019, and in 2020 Mark became an elder/pastor at the church bringing many years of pastoral ministry experience with him. Mark graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2003 and he also received a BA from Hardin Simmons University. Before coming to Pursuit, he and his family spent several years as missionaries in South Asia where they focused on training and equipping believers. Throughout the years his other roles have included being a Missions Pastor at Field Street Baptist Church, the lead pastor at First Southern Baptist in North Edwards, CA, and he also served on staff at Mission Arlington.
