Mission and Vision
We exist to glorify God by equipping the saints and through sacrificial living.
God gave us apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers to equip the saints (Christ followers) for ministry. We believe that the ministry referred to in this passage is two-fold.
Primarily it is the mission to make disciples; and secondly, it is to serve and love one another as Jesus commanded. This act of sacrificial love within the Christian community serves as a living testimony to the world that we are truly His disciples.
We believe that through a sacrificial lifestyle, we truly honor the Lord by allowing Him to live His life through us while manifesting Himself to those around us.
Glorify God
We glorify God by growing in our knowledge of Him and living in worshipful obedience to His Word.
We equip the Saints by making disciples, baptizing them, and teaching them to live a life of obedience and devotion to God.
Sacrificial Living
We practice sacrificial living by loving one another as Jesus commanded while presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice before God.
Our Vision
We are to be a unified church – unified in our faith, in our knowledge of Jesus, in our pursuit of maturity, and in our love for one another (Ephesians 4:13).
In John 17:20-23, Jesus prayed that His followers throughout the ages would be unified – or one – just as He and the Father are one.
Why? So that the world may believe that Jesus truly is the Son of God and that He loves us!
As we grow in our knowledge and relationship with God, we develop an insatiable hunger to pursue Him more. God, in turn, pours His love into our hearts, transforms our lives, and puts the desires within us to share that love, reconciliation, and transformation with others, and to fully pursue His will for our own lives.
